ECP is pleased to announce our
ICD-10 testing solution. This is a free option for testing ICD-10
coded claims with ECP. This testing solution will be ready for ECP
customers September 1, 2013.
There are several different
formats for which ECP clients send their claims. Please see the below
testing instructions for the software format you send. If you do not
know which format you fall under, please call our help desk at
800.327.1213 opt 3.
ICD-10 Testing
Instructions:
1.
ANSI 5010 Format
a. Create
a test file of at least 10 claims with a
variety of ICD-10 codes and insurance companies
b. Log
in to ECP (www.4ecp.com)
using your login
and password
c. Click
on the TEST LOGIN LINK on the right side of
the
screen
d.
Upload your file to ECP
e. You
will have your test file reults within 1 hour via
the ECP TEST LOGIN LINK

ANSI 4010 Format
a.
Contact your software vendor for specific product
upgrades. If your software does not support ICD-10
upgrades and you need an alternative option,
contact
ECP at 800.327.1213 opt 3, for a customized
solution
3.
All Other Formats (i.e.: print image, NSF, etc.)
a. Please
contact ECP at 800.327.1213 opt 3, if you are
sending in one of these formats and you do not intend
to
upgrade your software. You will be required to
transmit the ICD-10 code in addition to an indicator of
(ICD10) somewhere on the form. ECP will help you
identify where to put this indicator depending on your
format.
