Design and develop new ECP products to offer our clients, with direction and specifications determined by Director of Electronic Services and Director of Information Technology.
Review payer requirements, updates and changes. Contact payers, if necessary, pertaining to such changes.
Provide Perl training and assistance to help desk staff.
Develop and maintain client conversions, payer edits and payer format in “C” and Perl, for ECP production. New programs and modifications are effectively tested to assure reliability.
Develop and maintain utility programs and support tools to assist the help desk. Maintain ECP Call Center and ECP billing programs.
Utilize skills in PHP and SQL
Provide programming maintenance support for the help desk. Analyze to determine if programming modifications are required for other clients and payers.
Document all modifications through SCCS.
Develop and test communications programs for payer file transmissions.
Communicate with management and staff on trends and issues pertaining to ECP production.
Provide customer support under extraordinary situations.
Complete assignments in a timely and thorough manner. Assignments can be given by Help Desk supervisor and help desk staff, if necessary, to provide timely customer support. Notify Director to resolve issues concerning prioritization.
