Provide first level support by evaluating, prioritizing and resolving client problems with minimal supervision and assistance.
Log and track calls using ECP Call Center and maintains history records and related problem documentation. Escalate to senior support or Supervisor when necessary.
Execute production utilities.
Process and verify production transmissions and payer reports.
Coordinate daily processing of patient statements and insurance forms.
What candidates will need to know or learn:
Knowledge of ANSI format
ability to utilize resources to interpret payer formats
thorough understanding of UNIX line commands and utilities
thorough knowledge of production flow
confidence in claims processing terminology
effective communication with clients, vendors, and ECP employees
ability to view ECP proprietary source code (in C and Perl) to assist in the resolution of client issues
the usage of resources (Internet, documentation, supervisory personnel) to enhance client satisfaction
